LaSalle County Station Unit 1 Fine Motion Control Rod Drive (FFCRD) Demonstration Test NRC Docket No. 50-373 Reference (a): May 23, 1985 letter from J. G. Marshall to H. R. Denton Requesting Review and Approval of GE ED0-30841, March 1985.
Dear Mr. Denton:
Reference (a) requested your review and approval of GE Topical Report entitled LaSalle Unit 1 Fine Motion Control Rod Drive Demonstration Test Description (NEDO-30841, dated March 1985). CECO had intended to modify LaSalle Unit 1 and install the FMCRD during the upcoming Unit 1 Fall 1985 refueling outage.
As a result of an overscheduling of work for the Unit 1 first refueling outage, CECO has decided that the subject plant modification will not be installed. Therefore, licensing activities to support this installa-tion should be terminated immediately. In the event that this project is re-initiated, a new submittal will be prepared.
