I hope our discussions on September 30, 1996 were helpful to you. As promised, enclosed are the following documents relevant to uranium recovery in the United States:
1.
The current U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission organization chart.
2.
NRC regulations for uranium mill operation and reclamation.
3.
The NRC Standard Review Plan for Department of Energy remedial action at old tailings sites.
Much of the review plan is also applicable to review of reclamation plans at licensed uranium mill sites.
4.
Copies of the license for a conventional mill undergoing reclamation (Atlas) and an operating in situ uranium mill (C0GEMA).
5.
A report on decommissioning uranium facilities that focuses on costs but contains other information.
