Boiling Water Reactor Reactivity Management Events During Power Operations" An AE00 engineering evaluation report, " Human Factors Aspects of Boiling Water Reactor Reactivity Management Events During Power Operations," is enclosed.
This report documents the review of operational events from mid-1988 to present that involved reactivity events leading to BWR reactor trips from Modes 1 and 2.
At the recent BWROG meeting, I discussed NURE6-1275, Vol. 8, " Operating Experience feedback Report - lluman Performance in 03erating Events," and future related AE00 activities. My impression of t1e meeting was that AE00 should attempt to feedback operating experience that was more directly related to improving human performance. This engineering evaluation report is an example, I believe, of the detailed lessons that can-be learned, collected, and fodback to improve human performance.
I encourage BWROG comments on the value of feedback of the type of information included in the engineering evaluation report.
