Additional Information Regarding the Reactor Pressure Vessel at Vermont Yankee In Reference (e) members of your staff requested additional information regardirg the reactor pressure vessel at Vermont Yankee in order to complete their review of Reference (c). The purpose of this letter is to provide the requested information.
The circumferential weld whichjoins Plate 1-12 and 1-15 was fabricated by the Chicago Bridge and Iron company using the shielded metal arc welding process. The data submitted in response to Reference (d) applies to all circumferential and vertical welds in the reactor vessel.
