I am enclosing the affidavit of Alfred H. Getty, the System Planning Manager of Commonwealth Edison Company.
Pursuant to the Licensing Board's order of April 17, 1985, this affidavit constitutes the Applicant's report, in connection with Neiner Contention 1, of its presently known and potential future plans for installing a 765kV transmission line associated with the Braidwood plant.
In conformance with the Board's order, counsel for Applicant gave copie's of this affidavit to representatives of Neiner Farms and the NRC Staff on May 21, 1985, and discussed its contents with those parties.
The parties discussed whether, on the basis of Applicant's report, the contention could be dismissed or deferred, either until a future NRC hearing when Applicant proposed 1
