LILCO'S MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME 00 RESPOND TO " MOTION TO INTERVENE ON
- BEHALP OF THE RESIDENTS OF NASSAU COUNTY" All parties are currently required to reply by Wednesday, June 5, 1985 to-the May 21, 1965 " Motion to Inter-vene on Behal.f of the Residents of.Nassau County" in anticipa-tion of hearings scheduled to commence June 24 on the issue of the use of Nassau Coliseum as a reception cen'er.
Suffolk t
County Executive Order 1-1985 (attached), which evidences Suffolk County's intent to conduct an exercise of the Shoreham emergency plan, may affect the nature, schedule, and possibly the need for such hearings.
Accordingly, LILCO requests an ex-tension of nine days, until June 14, for all parties to respond to the pending Petition in order to allow time for preliminary evaluation of the eff ects of Suffolk County Executive Order t
