The application for an amendment to the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Plant Operating License, Number NPF-3, submitted on June 6, 1994 (TE Serial Number 2219),
reflecting the proposed merger of the Toledo Edison Company (TE) into the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company (CEI), is hereby withdrawn.
Supplemental information regarding the initial application was submitted in letters dated July 20, 1994 (TE Serial 2239), November 11, 1994 (TE Serial No. 2259), April 12, 1995 (TE Serial No.
2290), September 19, 1995 (TE Serial No. 2324), September 27, 1995 (TE Serial No.
2331) and October 30, 1995 (TE Serial No. 2340).
The request for license transfer pursuant to 10CFR50.80 that was included in the letter dated September 19, 1995 (TE Serial No. 2324), is also hareby withdrawn.
These submittals are withdrawn as a result of new plans to merge Centerior Energy with Ohio Edison and form FirstEnergy Corporation.
