Station. Unit 32, Region 6,--in Japan. Assurances from the Government of Japan are required that the-material-will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an-agreement for-cooperation.

Dear Ms. Wright:

I attach for your kind consideration an application to export uranium as uranium hexafluoride to Japan for use as relcad fuel in the Tomari power station, Unit 2, owned by the Hokkaido Electric Power Company, Inc.

Please note that the total material quantity of 5,115 Kg.of uranium at 4.15%

enrichment with 211 Kg U235 is composed of two material quantities: 4,966 Kg uranium at 4.15% enricrvnent with 207 Kg U235 and 149 Kg uranium at 2.65%

enrichment with 4 Kg U235.

In compliance with the final rule ptblished in the July 23, 1992 Federal Register, please find enclosed the application fee of $3,100.
