Zion Nuclear Power Station Units 1 and 2 Response to Inspection Report Nos. 50-295/85-008 and 50-304/85-009 Reference (a): May 13, 1985 letter from D. L. Farrar to J. G. Keppler.

Dear Mr. Keppler:

The referenced letter transmitted Commonwealth Edison Company's response to Inspection Report Nos. 50-295/85-008 and 50-304/85-009. That response contained a commitment to revise the PWR EALs by July 1, 1985.

It has been determined that additional time is required to complete the revised release rate calculations needed to alter the EALs. Thus, Commonwealth Edison is revising the implementation date for the new Zion EALs to August 15, 1985.
