1 October 9, 1996 INVITATION UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION /
NATIONAL MINING ASSOCIATION URANIUM RECOVERY MEETING NOVEMBER 13-14, 1996 Representatives from your organization are invited to participate in an upcoming Uranium Recovery Meeting. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Division of Waste Management, and the National Mining Association (NMA) are jointly sponsoring this event on November 13-14, 1996.
The workshop will be held in the NRC Headquarters auditorium at the Two White Flint North building, i
11545 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland.
This meeting, with accompanying workshops, will provide a forum for all participants to discuss relevant issues within the uranium recovery industry.
A preliminary agenda, registration form, information sheet, and area map are enclosed.
Registration forms can either be faxed or mailed to the number / address provided on the information sheet.

U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Two White Flint North Auditorium 11545 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD 20852-2738 The White Flint North complex is located at the intersection of Rockville Pike (Rt. 355) and Marinelli Drive, less than 50 yards south of the White Flint Metro Station on the Metro's Red Line.
The trip from Washington National Airport to the White Flint Metro station takes approximately forty-five minutes. Taxis are also available.
Crystal Limousine Service (1-800-872-2797) is available for transportation from National, Dulles and Baltimore Washington Airports, and Washington Flyer Limousine Service (703-419-6368) is available from National and Dulles.
Use of Metro is recommended as parking is not available at the NRC building. Maps are included in this package.

Pre-registration for the meeting and the workshops is requested.
Please complete the enclosed form, and either fax or mail the form to the NRC at the number / address provided on the registration form.
The entrance to the auditorium will be open beginning at 8:00 A.M. each day.
The meeting on November 13th will begin at 8:30 A.M. and end at approximately 4:30 P.M..
Workshops on the following day will also begin at 8:30 A.M.,
Copies of information presented at the workshop will be available at registration. Minutes from the meeting and workshops will be provided to all interested attendees.
