This regulatory guide will facilitate more expeditious of petitions by the NRC, and it does not affect any existing rightq involvedinitspromulgationandimplementationisnecessaryandaf TheNRCoriginallyconsideredarulemakingonthetypeandld information needed for expedited processing of PRMs. The NRC deci this course of action after evaluating public comments received on rulemaking. The majority of the public comments stated that it is to codify this guidance because it is general guidance and does not mandatory requirements.
