Recent Refueling Outage Shutdown Risk Considerations Communications with the NRC New Corrective Action Program Milestones for 1993 The fif th refueling outage completed in November 1992 was discussed, including major work items, difficulties, and accomplishments.
Outage risk management during the refueling outage was discussed, including its benefits, lessons learned, and future planned improvements.
Discussions of communications between Entergy and the NRC included an assessment of working level communications with resident and regional inspectors, management interfaces, and plans to enhance communications.
Entergy representatives presented an overview of the revised corrective action program, which was implemented on February 1, 1993.
Under this program, most corrective action items are reported using one form, the Condition Report. This revised program was develop ] based on Quality Action Team recommendations.
Discussion of milestones for 1993 included completion of the generation support building, planned initiation of construction of a new maintenance support building, and plans for the sixth refueling outage scheduled for March 1994.
