ElHIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT RELATING TO EXPAllSI0tt Of THE SPENT FUEL POOL - LASALLE COUNTY STATION, UNIT 1 (TAC NO. M83797)
Enclosed is a copy of an Environmental Assessment regarding your request dated June 5,1992, as supplemented July 7 July 20, and flovember 4,1992, which proposed to increase the storage capacity of the Lasalle Coanty Station, Unit 1, spent fuel pool from its presently approved capacity of 1120 fuel assemblies to 3982 fuel assemblies. This request is similar to your previous request to increase the capacity of the Unit 2 spent fuel pool from 1120 to 4073 fuel assemblies.
The previous request was approved by the Commission on June 15, 1989.
We have also enclosed a flotice of issuance of Environmental Assessment and finding of flo Significant impact. This notice is being forwarded to the Office of the federal Register for publication.
