Letter from Thomas M Parker, Northern States Power Company, to U S Nuclear Regulatory Commission dated January 30, 1992, titled
" Revised Relief Request No. 45 Second Ten Year Inservice Interval" In the referenced letter, we requested the addition of the boric acid tanks to the Prairie Island Inservice Inspection Prograin Relief Request No. 45.
Relief Request No. 45 was submitted 6 th the original Prairie Island Inservice Inspection and Testing Program Second Ten Year Interval on December 22,1983.
The NRC approved the Second Ten Year Inservice Inspection and Testing Program (including Relief Request No. 45) on December 28, 1984. Through further review of Section XI of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, we have determined that relief is unnecessary.
We, therefore, withdraw our letter of January 30, 1992.
