Extension of comment period.
SUMMARY
- On May 22,1985 (50 FR 21072), the Nuclear Regulatory Comission published proposed amendments to its rules of practice to provide special procedures for resolving conflicts concerning the disclosure or nondisclosure of information relating to an NRC investigation or inspection not yet concluded or which would reveal the identity of a confidential infonnant and deemed relevant and materi.tl to an adjudication. The notice provided a 60-day period for public coment expiring on July 22, 1985. Two interested parties have requested a thirty day extension of time. Based on the significance of the issues involved and other factors, the NRC has decided to extend the comment period to August 23, 1985.
DATE: The extended comment period expires August 23, 1985. Coments received after that date will be considered if it is practical to do so, but assurance of consideration cannot be given except as to coments received on or before that date.
