REVIEW OF REVISION N0. 105 TO SELECT PORTIONS OF THE SITE EMERGENCY PLAN On December 29, 1992, we received your submittal of Revision No. 105 to Chapter 6 and Appendix M of the Site Emergency Plan. We have reviewed these revisions and have determined that the revision to Chapter 6 is acceptable and that it does not decrease the effectiveness of your emergency planning.
Revision 105 to Chapter 6 introduced several revised radiation protection concepts that were consistent with the latest revision of 10 CFR Part 20.
Several minor editorial refinements were also made to the text of Chapter 6.
Appendix M listed the site specific emergency action levels (EAls) utilized to classify emergency events. Your response, dated January 22, 1993, to a concern documented in NRC Examination Report No. 50-155/0L-92002 included proposed changes to several EAls. Review of the proposed EAL changes is ongoing. Consequently, further review of Revision 105 to Appendix M will be delayed.
