Emergency Response Exercise and Evaluation Plan Gentlemen:

Please find enclosed two copies of Maine Yankee's emergency response exercise and evaluation plan for this year's exercise, which is scheduled to be held on Saturday, June 22, 1985. This information is submitted in accordance with your gu delines for submitting exercise scenarios and i

associated documentation 45 days in advance of the scheduled exercise.

Maine Yankee's objectives for this exercise, involving local, County and State government, were previously submitted via Reference (b). These objectives and the State of Maine's objectives are contained in the enclosed exercise plan document.

We are in the process of revising the scenario to lengthen the duration of the General Emergency classification from one to two hours, based on fem's recent recommendation.

This change will be reflected in an errata to the scenario package rather than delay the federal review process.
