Dear Mr. Carr:

We have received your letter dated January 22, 1993, regarding the reply to the " Notice of Violations" issued in-the Nuclear 5 Regulatory Commission Inspection Report No. 70-1201/92-201. . Your -_

response has been deemed adequate, however, it was not received c by the NRC within the 30 days specified in the " Notice of Violations." This is in violation of 10 CFR 2.201.

Due to the fact-that the NRC was informed of 'he non-compliance by Kathryn Knapp, Manager, Safety and Licensing, on January 21, 1993, and the situation was promptly acLe3 upon, the NRC is issuing a Non-cited Violation which is summarized in Enclosure 1.
