Notice of Oral Argument In response to requests of Suffolk County and the Governor of New York, the Comission will hear oral argument from the County, the State, the applicant, and the NRC staff on:

1.

Whether to reconsider CLI-85-1; 2.

Whether the Shoreham alternate AC system should be treated as vital equipment during Phases III and IV of low-power testing; and 3.

Whether the Atomic Safety and Licensing Appeal Board should have affirmed the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board dismissal of physical security cententions for lack of specificity and basis.

In addition, the Comission is especially interestea in knowing what, if anything, would be left of the already-admitted physical security contentions if the Comission should decide that the alternate AC system need not be treated as vital equipment.

The argument will take place on Tuesday, June 4,1985, at 2:00 p.m., in the Comission's lith-floor conference room at 1717 H Street, 8505310184 850530 PDR ADOCK 05000322 G
