Operating License No. DPR-73 Docket No. 50-320 Licensing Fees Your letter of May 10, 1985, requested that GPU Nuclear remit an application fee of $150.00, in accordance with 10 CFR 170.12(c) and 170.21, for the updated Safety Evaluation Report (SER) for the Reactor Building Decontamination and Dose Redtetion Activities. This SER was transmitted to the NRC via GPU Nuclear letter 4410-85-L-0001 dated February 8, 1985.
10 CFR 170.12 states that an application fee is required for "All applications for license amendments, other required approvals and requests for dismantling, decommissioning and termination of licensed activities that are subject to fees based on the full cost of reviews...". Our letter dated February 8, 1985, specifically states that the referenced SER was transmitted to the NRC solely for information. Therefore, an application fee pursuant to 10 CFR 170.12(c) and 170.21 is not required.
