Pursuant to delegation by the Commission dated December 29, 1972, published in the Federal Register, 37 F.R. 28710 (1972), and Sections 2.105, 2.700, 2.702, 2.714, 2.714a, 2.717 and 2.721 of the Commission's Regulations, all as amended, an Atomic Safety and Licensing Board is being established in the following proceeding to rule on petitions for leave to intervene and/or requests for hearing and to preside over the proceeding in the event that a hearing is ordered.

BOSTON EDIS0N COMPANY Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station Facility Operating License No. DPR-35 This Board is being established pursuant to a notice published by the Coninission on May 21, 1985, in the Federal Register (50 F.R.

20969-71) entitled, " Monthly Notice; Applications and Amendments to Operating Licenses Involving No Significant Hazards Considerations."

The proposed amendment would, among other things, change the Technical Specitications by raising the K-effective limit of the fuel storage pool from 0.90 to 0.95 for normal conditions.
