Dear Mr. Carne:
An NRC inspection was conducted September 9-13,1996, at your Wolf Creek Generating
Station reactor f acility. The enclosed report presents the scope and results of that
inspection.
The areas inspected consisted of specific elements of maintenance implementation at the
Wolf Creek f acility. These elements included control and coordination of maintenance,
post maintenance testing, minor maintenance, trouble shooting, e i the (ncorporation of
revisions to vendor technical information into the preventive and corrective maintenance
programs. Your conduct of activities was generally characterized as appropriate.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter
and its enclnsure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
