Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Units 1 and 2 (TMI-1 and TMI-2)
Operating License No. DPR-50 and DPR-73 Docket No. 50-289 and 50-320 Modified Amended Physical Security Plan, Rev. 20 Enclosed is Revision 20 to the Modified Amended Physical Security Plan for Three Mile Island, Units 1 and 2.
This revision is being submitted in response to the NRC letter of May 2,1985 to TMI-1 and the NRC letter of May 9,1985 to TMI-2 which requested an updated schedule for upgrading the site security intrusion detection hardware and certain matters be addressed in a security plan revision. reiterates the NRC comments and provides the GPUN response or reference to the response to each comment.
In addition to the changes resulting from the NRC letter, changes were made in this revision to reflect the current organization and to provide clarification of existing sections.
A 10 CFR 50.59 evaluation of the plan revision was performed. The overall effect of this revision is to enhance the effectiveness of the Physical Security Plan and does not constitute an unreviewed safety question.
This plan change is therefore being implemented under 10 CFR 50.54(p) without prior approval.
