SECY-85-217 -- Shoreham -- Intervenor Renewal of Request to Supplement Environmental Impact Statement The Commission, by a 4-1 vote, approved an order denying a request by New York State and Suffolk County for the Commission to prepare a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement which would evaluate the costs and benefits of Shoreham low-power operations, assuming no Shoreham full power operation.
Commissioner Asselstine disapproved and indicated he would provide separate views.
(Subsequently, on June 20, 1985 the Commission reaffirmed their vote after the order was revised to respond to Commissioner Asselstine's separate views.)
