Subject: Inspection No. 50-47/93-01
An announced inspection was conducted by Mr. Thomas Dragoun of this office on January 6i8,
1993 of NRC authorized decommissioning activities. Discussions of our findings were held by
Mr. Dragoun with you and other members of the facility staff at the conclusion of this
inspection.
The inspection reviewed the status of decommissioning, revised release criteria, shipment of
radwaste, environmental soll analysis, and preparations for the termination survey.
Within the scope of this review, no safety concerns or violations were observed. The final phase -
of decommissioning was proceeding smoothly. No reply to this letter is required.
