Inspection at GA-Technologies, Inc.

This refers to the routine inspection conducted by Messrs. B. L. Brock and P. R. Zurakowski of this office on June 10-14, 1985, of activities authorized by NRC License No. SNM-696 and to the discussion of our findings held with you and members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.

Areas examined during this inspection are described in the enclosed inspection report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspectors.

During this inspection, it was found that one of your activities appeared to be in violation of NRC requirements. The item and reference to the pertinent requirement is listed in Appendix A to this letter. This item has been categorized into a Severity Level as describe in the NRC Enforcement Policy 10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C. Your response to this Notice is to be submitted in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.201 as stated in Appendix A, Notice of Violation.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
