Dear Dr. Kizer:

Thank you for your letter dated June 14, 1985, in response to our 1985 review of your Agreement State Radiation Control Program. We have evaluated your responses and find that you have already taken some significant steps.toward bringing your program back within the Agreement State guidelines. We appreciate your effort in establishing milestones and goals for accomplish-ment of these important tasks. As noted in our letter of April 26, 1985, there will be a followup review in six months, af ter which we will be in a better position to consider what finding should be made concerning the adequacy and compatibility of your radiation control program.

We have contacted Mr. Joe Ward, Chief, Radiological Health Branch and, with his concurrence, have chosen August 19-23, 1985 for your six-month radiation control program followup review. We would like to hold our exit meeting with you on Friday, August 23, 1985.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact this office at any time.

Sincerely,

}s
