By letter of February 9, 1990, to Louisiana Power bnd 1.ight Company (LP&L)'on the above subject, we addressed the need for confirmation of the implementation of activities at Waterford 3 within 30 days of the implementation. By letter of January 29, 1993, Entergy Operations, Inc.,

provided this confirmation. We consider this letter and the LP&L letter dated January 29, 1993, as appropriate responses to Generic letter 89-13. Any further followup will be conducted through our inspection activities where appropriate.

This closes our activities under TAC No. M74081.
