An announced inspection of your reactor radiation protection program ano emergency _ _
plan implementation was conducted by Messrs. Thomas Dragoun and Stephen Holmes of
this office on January 19-20,1993 of activities authorized by NRC. License No. R-94.
Discussions of our tindings were held by Messrs. Dragoun and Holmes with you and
Dr. Duggan at the conclusion of this inspection.
Areas reviewed during this inspection are imporant to public health and safety and are-
described in the enclosed inspection report. The areas examined included radiation surveys, -
postings, personnel dosimetry, training, staffing, committee oversight, portable survey
equipment and in-place radiation monitor calibrations and emergency planning. Within these
areas the inspection consisted of observations by the inspector, selective examinations of '
procedures and representative records, and interviews with personnel.
Within the scope of this review, no safety concerns or violations were observed. No reply to
this letter is required.
