yp WehavereviewedtheRadiologicalandEngineeWngks,lessmenEs(REAs) dated March 26 and April 23, 1985 for the vicinity properties in Edgemont, South Dakota at 610 E Street (ED-00641-RS) and 1104 3rd Avenue (ED-00453-RS). We concur with the remedial actions recommended in these REAs. This concurrence is based on the following conditions:

1.

We have concurred in the current version of the VPMIM; 2.

The recorriaended action in each REA involves less than 10,000 cubic yards of contaminated material and is intended to meet the primary EPA standards; and 3.

The removed contamination will be placed in interim storage at TVA's n.ill site. Final disposal will be at TVA's tailings disposal site.

Please notify us irrcediately of any action or decision which may affect any of these conditions.
