MEETING
SUMMARY
OF 12/15/92 BWROG MEETING ON POTENTIAL BWR WATER LEVEL INSTRUMENT ERRORS A meeting was held with the BWR Ownars' group (BWROG) on December 15, 1992.
The purpose of the meeting was to view a video tape presentation uy the BWROG, regarding operator guidance for potential errors in BUR reactor vessel water level instrumentation due to nonicondensible gases.
The list of attendees is provided in the enclosure, and a_ summary-of the issues discussed is provided below.
The BWROG showed a video tape presentation to the staff.
The video was of_ a simulated classroom operator training session in which Taggart Rogers addressed operator guidance for potential errors in level instrumentation, including a question ano answer period.
The simulated clnsroom training was es:;entially the same as was presented to-the staff by Taggart P.ogers at our October 29, 1992 meeting at the 0WFN building with the exception of-improved visual aids.
After the videotape presentation, the staff and the EWR04 discussed-the schedule for the next meeting to discuss the BWROG long-term plan.
