Dear Mr. MacDonald:
Transnuclear, Inc. hereby requests renewal of NRC approval of our Y Quality Assurance Program for Design, Manufacture, Test, Use, Maintenance and Repair of Packagings for Transport of Radioactive Materials, (E-1473). The enclosed QA Program (E-1473, Rev. 3) has been revised as identified on pages i and 11. The revisions consist of updating Appendix A to include additions of QA Program Plans and QA Procedures since Rev. 2 and to change "10CFR71, Appendix E" to "10CFR71, Subpart H" throughout the document. Subpart H was reviewed and determined to contain the same QA requirements as Appen' dix E. Enclosed is a check for $150.00 in payment of the application fee.
