SUBJECT:

ASSIGNMENT OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT DUTIES FOR THE UMTRAP SITES DOE has indicated a need for an NRC contact for UMTRAP sites which are in the early stages of site characterization.

In order to provide the project management contact, Giorgio Gnugnoli, Mark Haisfield, and I met to assign all the UMTRAP sites that had not yet been provided with a project manager. Tentatively, the assignments for all the sites are as follows:

MarkHaisfield(9 sites)

Durango, Gunnison, Ambrosia Lake, Tuba City, Mexican Hat, Monument Valley, Falls City, Slick Rock, and Lowman.

Dan Gillen (7 sites)

Salt Lake City, Shiprock, Grand Junction, Rifle, Bowman, Bellfield, and Maybell.

Giorgio Gnugnoli (6 sites)

Canonsburg, Riverton, Lakeview, Naturita, Green River, and Spook.

The distribution of sites has taken into consideration the geographic location of the sites in relation to previously assigned sites, the anticipated schedule of submittal to the NRC, and the non site-related workload of the project managers.
