Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1 (TMI-1)
Operating License DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 EQ - Incore Thermocouple Cables / Connectors As discussed in JIO-84-TI-6 Rev. 2, attached to GPUN letter dated March 25, 1985, GPUN sponsored a test of the incore thermocouple cables and connectors from March 17, 1985 to April 4, 1985. The test was actually conducted by Bailey Controls Quality Test Lab; irradiation was performed at Georgia Institute of Technclogy;'
and the steam and chemical spray test was performed at the Nuclear Engineering Lab of Ohio State University. Using Test Report No. QR-0141-000 Rev. B dated 6/12/85 as a basis, GPUN now considers the incore thermocouple cable and connectors fully qualified to the 00R Guidelines in accordance with 10CFR50.49. GPUN EQ File EQ-TI-139 documents the qualification and is available for review in the GPUN central file.
Ther'efore, JIO-84-TI-6.is no longer required and is cancelled.
