Nuclear Regulatory Commission ("the Commission"), Omaha Public Power District, holder of Facility Operating License-No. DPR-40, ' herewith requests that the Technical Specifications set forth in Appendix A to that License be amended to implement Generic Letter 89 01, i
The proposed changes in Technical _ Specifications are discussed in i
Attachment A to this Application. A Olscussion, Justification and No Significant' Hazards Consideration Analysis, which demonstrates that the proposed changes do not involve significant hazards considerations,. is _ appended to the Application for Amendment dated June 1, 1992, as supplementd September i24, 1992 as Attachment B.
The proposed changes in specifictrians would not-authorize /any change in the types or any increase _in the amounts of ~ effluents or a change in the authorized power level of the facility.

WHEREFORE, Applicant respectfully requests that Section 5_of Appendix A to Facility Operating License No -DPR-40 be amended in the form attached hereto as
