SUBJECT:
PHYSICAL SECVRITY IM,PICTION AT BRAIDWOOD
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. J. L. Belanger of this office
on November 2-6, 1992. The inspe. con included a review of activities
authorized for your Braidwood Nuclear Power Plant facility.
At the conclusion
of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your
staf' identified in the enclosed report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report.
Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of examination of procedures and
representative records, observations and interviews with personnel.
During this inspection, certain of vour activities, as described above, appear
to be in violation of NRC requirements.
However, you identified this
violation and it is not being cited because the criteria specified in Section
V.G of the " General Statement of Policy and Procedure for NRC Eiiforcement
Actions," (Enforcement Policy, 10 CFP, Part 2, Appendix C (1992), were
satisfied.
Areas examined during this inspection concern a subject matter which is exempt-
from disclosure according to Part 73, Title lu, Code of Federal Regulations,
Section 73.21(c)(2).
This information must be handled and protected in
accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 73.21.
Consequently, our report of
this inspection will not be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
