SUBJECT: ROUTINE CHEMISTRY INSPECTION Al BIG ROCK POINT NUCLEAR PLANT

This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. S. Octh of this office on

November 16-20, 1992. The inspection included a review of activities

authorized at your Big Rock Point Nuclear Plant. At the cerclusion of the

inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff

identified in the enclosed inspection report.

Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the enclosed report.

Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective examination of

procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, ani

observations of activities in progress.

No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the course of this

inspection.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of

this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the PRC

Public Document Room.

We will gladly discuss any questions you have concerning this inspection.
