Dear Parent:
i In the event of an incident at the Limerick Generating Station requiring response on the part of the population residing here, the has plans for the protection
_(Name of facility) of your child.
The purpose of.this letter is to infor= you about the essential infor=ation contained in our plan.
I
]
There are four emergency classifications for incidents at the
(])
Li=erick Generating Station. They are (1) Unusual'EventI (2) Ale'rt,
~
(3) Site E=ergency, and (4) General E=ergency.
~
h I
h An Unusual Event poses no danger and requires no action to protect your child.
i An Alert poses no danger off _ the site of.the L1=erick Generating Station, but the incident could become worse. During an Alert we shall begin our telephone calls to notify you or your designated emergency contact person and our prearranged host f acility' of the situation.
Based upon information available at that ti=e, we might decide to exercise an option to begin closing the i
In that event, (Name of facility) you or your designated contact person will,be called and asked to pick up your child.

been picked up the will be closed until the (Name of facility) energency is over.
A General Emergency could. lead to sheltering or evacuation of the population.
If there are.any children still here when an order to take shelter.or to evacuate is received, we are prepared to co= ply.
