Finkel of this office from January 11 - 15, 1993, at the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1, Middletown, Pennsylvania, of activities authorized by NRC License No. DPR-50 and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. A. Finkel with Mr. R. Rogan and other members of you staff at the conclusion of the inspection. Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region 1 Inspection Repcrt, which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector. Within the scope of this inspection, no issues affecting public health and safety, nor any violations of NRC requirements were observed. No reply to this letter is required.
