Dear Mr. MacDonald:

s We'(Exxon Nuclear company, Inc.) request that the expiration date for certificate of Compliance No. 9022, Revision 8, be extended from June 30, 1985 to September 30, 1985.
We understand that Combustion Engineering is applying for a renewal of the certificate.
However, we routinely use the CE-250 container for ship-ments to and from Germany and therefore need IAEA Certification by U.S.
Department of Transportation and a transportation license by Germany. We are conenrned that inadequate time remains to obtain all certificates / licenses before their current June 30, 1985 expiration.
Enclosed is a check for $150.
We understand that any costs will be billed to Exxon Nuclear Company, Tnc..
