This letter refers to the safeguards inspection conducted by Mr. R. J. Albert of this office on
January 11-15, 1993, of activities authorized by NRC License No, DPR-28 and to the
discussions of our findings held with Mr. D. Reid and other members of your staff by
Mr. Albert at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are important to public health and safety and are
described in the NRC Region I inspection report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these
areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative records,
interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Our inspection found that your security program was directed toward the protection of public
health and safety. There were no safety concerns or violations identified.
