Dear Mr. NacDonald:
This letter is in response to your application for a license to export nuclear equipment to India for use at the Tarapur Nuclear Generating Station (your reference flP89-ll7A, our application No. XCOM1075).
The application was forwarded to the Department of Commerce for jurisdictional determination.
It has been determined that the components are " balance-of-plant" items and not specially designed and prepared for use in a nuclear reactor, and, therefore, are under the licensing authority of the Department of Commerce.
