Northern States Power Cornpany, having filed a request dated January 22, 1970, and supplement thereto, dated January 30, 1970, for an extension of the 1ctest completion date specified in Provisional Construction Permit 1:o. CPPR-31 for construction of a 1670 negawatt (thermal) boiling vater nuclear reactor, designated as the Monticello Nuclet-Generating Plant, Unit No. 1, at the applicant's site in Wright County, !!innesota, about 3 ::iles northwest of Monticello, Minnesota, and good cause having been shown for extension of said a o pi.iv e iinn t to section 185 of thn h omic Energy Act of 3954, ce anended, and Secticn 50.55 of the ComT.ission's regulctions:
It is hereby ordered that the latest Completion date is extended from February 1, 1970 to August 1, 1970.
