The Commission understands that the staff intends to reach final resolution of the Thermo-Lag issue in the 2nd quartor of 1995.
At that timo, the staff expects to have completed inspections at all operating nuclear power plants to demonstrate that new fire barrier acceptance critoria are mot.
The Commission suggestod that the staff may want to include the owners' group or manufacturer in a future Commission briefing to give them an opportunity to explain the measures they will be taking to mitigate and eventually resolve the water level indication problems.
There were no new requirements for staff action.
