FINAL TECHNICAL EVALUATION REPORT FOR THE V.S. ECOLOGY TOPICAL REPORT ENTITLED, "HIGH-STRENGTH ASPHALT SOLIDIFICATION PROCESS FOR LOW-LEVEL RADI0 ACTIVE WASTES."
DOCKET NO. WM-102 We have completed our review and evaluation of the V.S. Ecology Tcpical-Report, USE-61-002-P, which is documented in the enclosed Technical Evaluation
-Report (TER). Note that the approval limits the use of this solidification process tothe boric acid concentrates under specific conditions that are defined in the TER.
As explained in the cover letter to U.S. Ecology, they will be preparing and submitting new volumes of their topical report that incorporate all of the.new information developed during the review process- as well as the final JTER. : We -
will forward copies of the documents when they are received. .In the meantime, please transmit this final TER to the sited States.
