NORTH ANNA POWER STATION, UNIT NOS. 1 AND WITHDRAWAL OF-AN AMENDMENT REQUEST (TAC NOS. M75809 AND M75810)
By letter dated January 16, 1990, as suppiamented March 20, 1990, and December 13, 1990, you applied for amendmeit; to the North Anna Units 1 and 2 Operating License Nos. NPF-4 and NPF-7, res)ectively. The proposcd amendments would have changed the Technical Specifications to allow the use of solid stainless steel or solid Zircaloy-4 filler rods in place of fuel. rods that are known to be failed, to remove the rod uranium weight-limit of 1780 grams, and to limit the use of filler rods. Subsequently, by letter dated December 30, 1992, you withdrew the amendment request.
The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of-Withdrawal.of Application for Amendments to Facility Operatin9 Licenses with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
