~

Basis P.aquirements Not Maintained Due to a Breakdown in Configuration i Management," Portland General Electric Company (PGE) committed to add .l training and qualification requirements for the type- off pneumatic l 3; operators used in the power-operated relief'valvas (PORVs). This . '

PGE committed to revise the Generic Letter 89-10 program description document to be comprehensive and accurate.- Thiu-revision-was scheduled to be completed by January 31, 1993.

Current Action Since the . Plant will not be resuming power operation, the scope of the Motor-Operated Valve Testing Program has significantly changed.-

The program description-document will therefore not be. revised ~as scheduled. 1 C. Commitment In LER No. 92-33. " Failure to Properly Stress Relieve a Steam.

Generator' Tube Sleeve Causes Trimary to Secondary Leakage to Exceed Limits" PGE committed to evaluate the stress relieving process and '

Current Action PGE will not be repairing steam generator tubes in the future; therefore, this evaluation will not be performed.-

E. Commitment In a management meeting held on June 26, 1991, PGE committed to-implement the Trojan Information System (TIS). This commitment was documented in NRC. Inspection Report No. 50-344/91-22.

Current _Act. ion TIS was intended to aid in the operation of Trojan and will therefore not be fully impicmented.

F. Commilment In a letter dated April 15, 1988, PGE committed to collect thermal stratification data for Main Feedwater Syntem piping restraints. If thermal stratification load were found to contribute to the system design basia, design basis documents would.be revised'to include this information.

Curtsnt_ Action Thermal- stratification leads in the Feedwater System are not a concern while shutdown, therefore the design baJia documents will not be revised.

G. C2Emitment In LER No. 92-33, " Failure to Properly Stress Relieve a Steam Generator Tube Sleeve Causes Primary to. Secondary Leakage to Exceed Limits," PGE committed to determine corrective actions for providing better control over vendor processes and procedures.

CurInnt_ Action

  • Due to the permanent closure of Trojan, the amount of vendor. services that will be employed at the Plant has been drastically reduced.

This action.has therefore been deferred to May 4, 1993.
