The Commission met to be briefed by representatives of the Atomic Industrial Forum (AIF) regarding AIF's views on the current status of the nuclear industry.
The following persons briefed the Commission:
- Donald P. Lyonn Chairman, AIF Board of Directors and President, Power Systems Group, Combustion Engineering, Inc.
- James J. O'Connor Chairman of the Board, INPO and Chairman of the Board and President, Commonwealth Edison Company
- Murray Edelman, Chairman AIF Committee on Reactor Licensing and Safety, and Vice President, Nuclear Group, Cleveland Electric Illuminating Co.
- Cordell Reed, Chairman IDCOR, Program Steering Group, and Vice President, Nuclear Operations, Commonwealth Edison Company
- Barton Z. Cowan, Chairman AIF Lawyers Committee and Partner, Eckert, Seamans, Cherin and Mellott There were no requirements at this meeting.
