Letter Dated January 23, 1992 With regard to the above referenced invoice and our letter requesting an exemption, we mistakenly assumed that the invoice was for an annual license fee.
I'm sorry for the mistake.
The Quality Assurance Plan that to the subject of the referenced invoice is no longer in effect at cintichem because all-of our Type B packaging has been transferred to the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Isotope Production and Distribution, effective November 26, 1991.
Notice of this trancter was given to the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Division-of Safeguards and Transportation treference (c))
in January 1992.
(A copy is enclosed for convenient reference.)
l Cintichem is no longer the owner and principle user of these packegings and we believe that 0 are no longer required to maintain this Quality Assurance plan.
Consequently, we should not be liable for the prescribed annual fee.
