NRC SERVICE WATER SYSTEM OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE INSPECTION REPORT 50-382/93-04 We are planning to conduct a Service Water System Operational Performance Inspection (SWSOPI) at your Waterford, Unit 3, facility during the period March 29 through April 30, 1993. This reflects a change to the schedule that was provided in our latter to you dated December 17, 1992. The change was requested because of a conflict.with other site activities previously scheduled. The present schedule was discussed with Mr. Laughlin of your staff .on January 12, 1993. The inspection will be conducted in accordance with Temporary _ Instruction 25!5/118, " Service Water System Operational Performance Inspectionr." The ter.m leader and principal contact for this inspection effort is Mr. Philip-Wagner. The inspection team will consist of the team leader, three inspectors and a mechanical design consultant. In order to implement an efficient inspection, the team would like to conduct - a short entrance meeting with those involved members _of your staff at 1 p.m. on March 30. 1993. The team would appreciate a short.(one hour) presentation on the design, operation, and history of the service water system. The team will spend the remainder of-the first week in meetings with mer.bers of your staff to identify documentation needs.and in completing the necessary training _ to support unescorted access to the facility for the NRC personnel. The team leader will request an escort for the consultant as necessary. Attached to this letter is a list of materials' that the team will require in order to prepare-for the inspection.
